Amongst the complex jigsaw of numerous layers and customized parts of the modern skeletonized dial lies a unique one of a kind piece of Harrier XV741's fuselage. Each component has been purposefully designed, drawing inspiration from the Harrier XV741 itself. Applied indexes are generously coated with Swiss lume, resulting in a dial that is not only bold and innovative, but clear and legible.
Measuring 44mm, each detail of the XV741's durable case has been considered. Brushed, polished and chamfered lugs and case bezel are supplemented by unique details such as the XV741's takeoff and landing coordinates from the Transatlantic air race etched into the case sides.
Modern aviation design and flair is supported by a precise and reliable Japanese automatic movement.
Under the hood, the XV741 is powered by a modified 21 jewel, 21,600 vph, Miyota 8 series automatic movement. A custom self-winding rotor has been designed to echo the Harrier's distinguished Rolls Royce Pegasus engine.
Inspired by the code name Operation "Blue Nylon" given to the XV741's participation in the air race, a comfortable leather and nylon strap been designed to attach the case to the wrist. For even greater versatility, each watch comes with an additional nylon and canvas, Velcro-release cuff-like strap.
Packaged in a military styled canvas wrapped gift box, each watch is uniquely numbered as part of a limited edition of 741 pieces.
