Gan is an interior design brand born from Gandiablasco; its original starting point. In the late 80's, Gan president José Gandia-Blasco reinvented a family business and tradition that had been around for four decades. Faithful to the firm's origins and close to his roots, José worked tirelessly to develop new collections of home textiles. Betting big on unique design and immaculate craftsmanship, the original Gan was born.
More than a brand, Gan is a concept firmly rooted in design and structured around handcrafting products. Gan rugs are not merely decorative objects, but a system of shapes and volumes that redefine our perception of inhabitability. Every last piece is gently handcrafted in India by experienced craftsman using only natural fibers like linen, jute, silk, and wool.
To ensure their brand is providing value to all parties involved, Gan continues their ongoing work in India to help develop local economies and communities in which they operate. Gan Proudly participates in child protection programs and sponsors a development project for women in rural settings.
