ALASKA 100 GTX
On its 25th anniversary, which coincides with Hanwag's 100th anniversary, the Alaska GTX will be honored with a special model in limited numbers: the "Alaska 100". Made of fine but robust grain leather as an homage to the tradition of smooth leather and the origins of mountain boots. The slightly higher rubble protection edge with lasered logo protects the leather against bumps and cuts, embossing on the shaft refines the anniversary model. Even more stable and durable laces made of die-cast metal ensure a reliable fit - even with the toughest bushwhacking. The polyurethane midsole is covered with a 0.2 mm thick TPU film. This not only makes the sole unit lighter and more comfortable but also uncomplicated to maintain and significantly more hydrolysis-resistant. The insoles are made of chrome-free tanned leather. With the new, lighter Vibram® “Fuoraska” outsole with the tried and tested Hanwag Prismbase Technology, trekkers with the Alaska 100 continue to go through thick and thin - and beyond.
