Architectmade "Aves" Bird Sculpture/Paperweight (1.1, 1.8 or 2.5 inches length) in Solid Brass by Co Derr (1959/60) derived from the Latin word "AVES" (Birds). These vintage modernist bird-shaped figurines were created in the late 1950s by the Dutch artist famous for his large minimalist sculptures. These small yet solid birdies are enhanced by subtle polishing, infusing each unique piece with the unique depth and dimension that can only be found in warm brass. We see them looking modern on your desk; use them as paperweights at the office or as small home decor accents on your bookshelf. Sold as a complete set of three (one each size packaged in a box). Each figure is packaged in a black drawstring bag for safekeeping.
