In the Danish Neighborhood of Frederiksberg all the way back in 1959, a charming news headline woo'ed the hearts of almost every Dane in the community. The story recounted an experience where a particularly compassionate police officer brought rush hour traffic to a hault, just so a family of ducks could make it across the street safely. One designer, Hans Bølling was so utterly enamored with the lovable nature of this story that he crafted a family of duck figurines to immortalized the moment.
