The Slicing Knife by Berti is perfect for carving meats and poultry, as well as slicing sandwiches, vegetables and fruits. Slicing knives are similar to carving knives, however they have long, thin blades with either a round or pointed tip, which differs from carving knives.

With a more flexible blade than a carving knife, slicing knives are used to cut thinner slices of roast, fruits and vegetables. Occasionally these knives have granton edges preventing meat from tearing during the slice.
