Danese Milano Putrella Center Piece | Black
By Danese
Putrella is a table centrepiece made from a semi-finished industrial product. Its archetypal form and expressive force is a prime example of Enzo Mari’s work. The piece is made of iron with transparent varnish and is produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces per year.
Multi-use tray - Iron matte transparent varnish. The Putrella, designed in 1958 by Enzo Mari for Danese, belongs to the range of products whose research began some years before with the vases in welded sheet metal, and the Vasi Camicia. Mari aimed at achieving archetypal shapes by using elementary industrial processes. The Putrella container is a double T beam, bent up at each end that is transformed into an object providing the functionality of a tray.
