The German Junghans Max Bill Regulator Limited Edition 60 27/3190.02 from the Max Bill series is popular for its clean, timeless look inspired by the Bauhaus artistic style. This is a limited edition of 1060 pieces for the whole world. This model was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the first Max Bill wristwatch. It is fitted with the J800.5 automatic movement, which is based on the Swiss variant of the ETA 2892. It displays the time in a less common solution, called a regulator. This means that each hand revolves around its own axis. Thecentral hand shows the minutes, the sub-dial at the 12th position serves as the hour indicator. The seconds hand can be found on the sub-dial at position 6. The dial is inspired by the simplicity of the Bauhaus artistic style. The watch design was conceived for Junghans by Swiss architect, sculptor and designer Max Bill in the 1960s and has remained virtually unchanged since then. It is protected by a sapphire crystal, which guarantees maximum protection against scratches, while the double-sided anti-reflective layer provides excellent legibility even in harsh light.
